About

While I always loved libraries (and special thanks to my grade school librarian Mrs. Weinburger), my first library job was at the Newberry Library during college while I worked on my senior thesis – what a fabulous place to begin!

I earned my Masters degree in Information and Library Studies from the University of Michigan (focused on technology, research and management).

Then I worked in university libraries for several years. I was also quite involved with the American Library Association during this time.

Next, I tried the corporate world where I worked for a library vendor and then another job publishing medical information.

Following that, I started helping small businesses with their websites.

After several years, I found I missed librarianship. I worked at Anoka Technical College for several years. Now I work in the PALS office serving the MnPALS consortium.
